Reporting to the Group HR Director, the Learning and Development Manager will be responsible for identifying and monitoring training needs in the organisation, designing, planning and implementing training programs.
Drawing up the annual Learning & Development Plan for the organisation, detailing the program/course, budget estimates, delivery channels, program/Course duration, target employee segments.
Identifying Training and Development needs through job analysis, performance appraisals in regular consultation with line managers and recommending appropriate Human Resources Development initiatives.
Drawing up a talent development calendar and budget for the period based on outcomes of the needs analysis.
Overseeing and coordinating the Talent Development Programme, including Management Development Programs, Graduate Trainee Programs and Students on Attachment across all departments.
Assessing learning needs from Performance reviews, Personal development plans (PDPs) and identified learning and development gaps.
Conducting and/or facilitating talent development programs in accordance with identified needs.
Conducting post-course evaluation for all talent development programs in line with the agreed Talent Development framework.
Evaluating individual and organisational development needs as well as assessing the success of development plans to help employees make the most of learning opportunities.
• A Degree in Human Resources/ Psychology or similar from a reputable and recognized tertiary institution.
Diploma in Training and Development/Certification in Talent Management or equivalent is a must.
Master’s Degree in Human Resources, Strategic Management, Business Administration or equivalent will be an added advantage.
At least 5 years’ experience in a similar role within a financial institution.
Excellent presentation skills.
Good people engagement and stakeholder management skills
